Massage Therapy can be used to treat both acute and chronic conditions. RMTs can work with a variety of patient in the treatment of illness, injury rehabilitation and disability . Massage therapy can be beneficial to a wide variety of conditions.
A Registered Massage Therapist is a primary healthcare provider and anyone may visit an RMT of their choice. A referral or prescription is not required to visit an RMT, although some insurance companies may require this.

Gilbert (Gil) Magne BMR-PT, has been actively pursuing excellence in physiotherapy since 2004. Following a movement-based therapy program, he aims to empower you to achieve your goals by taking a broad view at the way you move. Gil’s practice in downtown Winnipeg, involves clients with chronic pain, work, sports and autopac injuries and is focused on injury prevention and rehabilitation.

To keep his practice current, Gil not only attends diverse physio training seminars and courses throughout the year to provide balanced treatment, but also regularly organizes such training for healthcare professionals in Winnipeg and surrounding areas. Drawing from this continuous training to fuel his programs, Gil is able to create dynamic, customized physio treatment for his patients. Dr. Alan Daien graduated from the University of Manitoba in 1979 with a B.Sc in Microbiology. In 1984 he obtained his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. He became A.R.T. certified in 2000. Dr. Daien was one of the founding member of the Chiropractic Foundation for Spinal Research and has acted as as Standards Chairman for the Manitoba Chiropractors Association. Dr. Daien focuses on musculoskeletal injuries and regularly partakes in post graduate training to stay abreast of the latest research.

Fung graduated from University of Manitoba with a Masters of Physiotherapy.

He is always excited to continue his learning and hopes to concentrate on temporomandibular joint disorders and vestibular physiotherapy in the future. With a focus on evidence-based practice, he takes a hands-on approach together with exercise to help his patients.

Dr. Ian Ledger B.SC., DC.,CAFCI Dr. Ian Ledger graduated with a B.SC. in Microbiology from the U of M in 1985. He graduated with a D.C. (Doctor of Chiropractic) from CMCC in Toronto in 1989. He has subsequently fulfilled the requirements for acupuncture, Dry needling (GTT), Active Release Techniques (ART), Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS), kettle bells (HKC), and Kinesiotaping. He has also taken courses on motor control and stabilization from Dr. Stuart McGill, Dr. Chris Powers and Dr. Craig Liebenson.
